Shilpa Shetty On Kathua Rape Case: I Feel Very Ashamed

Actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra says she is a proud Indian, but has been feeling ashamed after incidents like the Kathua rape case in which an eight-year-old was brutally gang raped and murdered in Jammu.
Speaking at a product launch here on Wednesday, Shilpa said, “I am not a politician…but this is not a good situation. As a mother, I can say this much it must have left every mother with a daughter feeling very unsafe and a lot of fear in their hearts.”
“We are living in a democratic country and stringent laws have to be put into place when it comes to rape.

Abhay Deol’s Nanu Ki Jaanu Director Has A Flair For Satires, Makes A Horror Comedy After Sharman Joshi’s War Comedy

Abhay Deol starrer Nanu Ki Jaanu releases today. The film belongs to the horror genre. However, the twist in the tale is that it is presented as a satire. Not that this has come as a surprise since the film’s director Faraz Haider has a flair for experimenting with different genres in a humorous manner.
“He has done that earlier with War Chod Na Yaar as well,” informs our source, “This was a film that was set around an India-Pakistan war. Released in 2013, the film starred Sharman Joshi, Soha Ali Khan and Javed Jaffrey. Shah Rukh Khan Alibaug Property Case: Verdict Announcement Postponed

Trouble continues for the ‘King of Bollywood’ Shah Rukh Khan as the Income Tax Department continues to probe into his Alibaug property matter. It is reported that the Raees actor will not get any respite on the case till December 2018 from the Income Tax department which is currently investigating the case.
The actor has been accused of buying the Alibaug property under the false pretense of using it for agricultural purposes, and instead built a farmhouse on the land. Owned by the actor under the name of Deja vu Farms Pvt Ltd., the actor bought the property under Section 63 of the Bombay Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1948 (which stipulates that only a farmer can buy agricultural land) and instead has been using it for luxurious purposes.The property dispute has now reached New Delhi and there will be a hearing with both parties before giving an order in this matter.

Kathua Rape Case: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan finds it terrible to even think about the rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Actress Kiara Advani, who featured in M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, is all set to make her debut in Telugu cinema opposite superstar Mahesh Babu in Bharat Ane Nenu. She says its a blessing to be able to cater to the audience in the north and south market.

Bharat Ane Nenu Actress Kiara Advani: I’m Lucky That I Will Be Reaching Out To North, South Viewers Q. You seem to have discovered alternate success in the Telugu film industry. How did this happen? And how comfortable are you doing films in Telugu?
A. I think I got really lucky that there was this demand for me to do a Telugu film. Success is met when hard work meets the right opportunity. I’m still awaiting the release of the film to know how I fare with the audience. It’s like giving an exam and waiting for your results.

Rajkummar Rao’s Omertà Gets A New Release Date; There Is A Clash Awaiting!

Rajkummar Rao starrer Omertà that was scheduled to release on April 20th will now release on May 4th. The makers kept everyone guessing but finally disclosed the reason for the new release date today.
Director Hansal Mehta says, “We knew that it wouldn’t be a cake walk with the Censor Board given that the film has a fair bit of violence and strong language. We didn’t want cuts that would take away the essence of the film, so we had to wait. The Censor Board Chief and members of the revising committee understood how certain scenes could not be removed since they are essential for audiences to understand how a terrorist’s mind works. Hence the wait and that’s why a decision has been taken to release Omertà on May 4th.”
