Delhi High Court Restrains Vashu Bhagnani From Interfering With The Release Of Fanney Khan & Batti Gul Meter Chalu

The Delhi High Court has today restrained noted film producer Vashu Bhagnani owned Pooja Film Company and Pooja Entertainment & Films Ltd. from interfering with the distribution and release of the films Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachhans starrer “Fanney Khan” as well as Shahid Kapoor starrer “Batti Gul Meter Chalu”, both of which are scheduled for release next month and are being co-produced by T-series.
The Hon’ble Court was hearing a suit filed by T-Series which claimed that Vashu Bhagnani was interfering in the release and distribution of these films by issuing baseless public notices asking various theatre owners and film distributors in the country to not enter into any agreements to release these films. Vashu Bhagnani had apparently also served legal notices to Bhushan Kumar’s T-series, Prerna Arora’s Kriarj Entertainment and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s production house last month claiming to have acquired rights in these films from Kriarj last year itself.

Half Yearly Report: Which Is The WORST Bollywood Film Of 2018? VOTE NOW

While the year 2018 has been fruitful so far, there have been quite a lot of films that didn’t live onto the expectations. A lot of good films released this year, some of them being Mukkabaaz, PadMan, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Raid, Hichki, October, 3 Storeys, Sanju, however there have been some films that just left me confused as to what was the purpose of making the film.
In the series of half-yearly round up, here’s a look at the 5 worst films of the year for me:
5. Hate Story 4 Hate Story 4 The fourth instalment of Hate Story franchise starred Urvashi Rautela in lead, and to be honest, the second part of franchise was quite good. However, this time around the twists and turns seemed to be forced, the performance by the entire cast was horrible from the word go, and the dialogues were as tacky as they get. Since not much was expected from the film, it finds the 5th spot in this list. Unlike the previous 3 instalments, sex didn’t sell this time as the Box-Office outcome also was not ..

Ali Zafar: “I Would Stay Away From Projects That Objectify Women”

Amid allegations of sexual harassment, Pakistani singer-actor Ali Zafar says he would like to stay away from films or songs that involve objectification of women.
Ali refused to comment on the ongoing legal battle with singer Meesha Shafi, who accused him of sexual harassment in April on social media, as the “matter is subjudice”.
But he did share his thoughts on the trend of item numbers in the entertainment industry.
“It depends on how it is done. Freedom of expression is something that we have. We should have the right to have that but how we use it, is very important. If it doesn’t demean a woman or objectify women and is done in an entertaining manner, I don’t see any harm in that,” Ali told IANS in a telephonic interview from Lahore.
Ali Zafar: “I Would Stay Away From Projects That Objectify Women” If done distastefully, he said: “I would personally stay away from it.”
He did sing and feature in the video of the song “Item number”, released by Junglee Music. It is not like t..

Diljit Dosanjh’s Soorma & Shah Rukh Khan’s Chak De India Has Just One Common Ground Clarifies Shaad Ali

Comparisons with the popular hockey film “Chak De! India” are odious, but inevitable for “Soorma“, a biopic on the life of hockey legend Sandeep Singh. Director Shaad Ali, who assures that the films are very different, says the sports star’s life itself has been so eventful that he had to wade through the drama to get to his core.
“There really is no common ground between ‘Chak De…’ and ‘Soorma‘ except hockey. But ‘Chak De…’ focused on the coach. So in that sense, Reema Kagti’s forthcoming ‘Gold’ (about India’s first team to win a gold medal at the Olympics) is more likely to be compared with ‘Chak De…’,” Shaad said.
He had no intentions of doing a film on Singh.
Diljit Dosanjh’s Soorma & Shah Rukh Khan’s Chak De India Has Just One Common Ground Clarifies Shaad Ali “When Chitrangda Singh, who produces ‘Soorma’, came to me, we were thinking of something entirely different on the lines of a small town drama like my film ‘Bunty Aur Babli‘. When Chitrangda suggested we do this (‘Soorma’..
